Leading the way in lawn treatments

Looking after your lawn can be the gift that keeps on giving. But, with lots of lawn treatments available on the market, it can be hard to know where to start. Here, we have rounded-up the benefits of working with a lawn care treatments specialist, to ensure your grass retains its strength and vibrancy all year round.

Cost effective

Working with a lawn care specialist is far more cost effective than investing in off-the-shelf solutions. Our team is trained to spot issues such as moss overgrowth, thatch and lawn damage from insects. As the reasons for needing a lawn treatment can vary, each treatment should be bespoke to the job and mixed by hand, to ensure the correct amount of feed, fertiliser and herbicide is used. A box of fertiliser cannot offer such a tailored application.

In tune with the seasons

Each season brings different weather conditions, which means a unique set of challenges for your lawn. Our lawn treatments are expertly mixed depending on the season, to ensure they work in tune with the weather conditions. For example, our spring mix contains a specialist balanced fertiliser and liquid herbicide for spring growth and weed control – perfect for following the winter months.

Our summer blend is mixed with essential feed and herbicide for nutrients and weed control. The months of summer are the time you want your lawn to look its best, so it's important to give your grass a top-up when the warmer weather sets in.

Looking to the colder months, we use a phosphorus and potassium feed throughout autumn for root development and an iron feed to toughen the grass over winter. These treatments are imperative to ensure the vibrancy of your grass is retained over the months that lawns struggle the most.

Safe for children and pets

Lots of homeowners worry about the safety of lawn treatments for pets and children. All of our treatments are safe for both and are non-irritant should they come into contact with the skin. This means there's no need to keep the garden off limits!

Hopefully this gives you an idea of why it can be helpful to consult a lawn specialist when tackling your grass. If you need any tips and advice, or require a lawn assessment for your own garden, get in touch or head over to our socials @sycamorelawns.
